Naturally, we enjoyed meeting up with all our old small press friends at this holiday small press fair, but we were especially delighted to see Ottawa friend Adam Thomlison, who was gracious enough to be Pitouie‘s latest celebrity endorsement.
And the day after the fair itself, there was the reading! With our own Derek Winkler reading from his debut novel! And he did not disappoint, reading a particularly intriguing passage from his novel Pitouie.
He was followed by impressive small press authors Jasmine D’Costa, Sachiko Murakami, Ava Homa, and Fraser Sutherland. And preceded by the amazing Sang Kim, our evening’s host.
